Out of the shadows: An epistemological examination of family childcare in Canada

چکیده

This paper critically examines the current knowledge base of family childcare through an epistemological lens. A brief literature review highlights what is known about childcare, and standpoint theory used to illustrate how I first became aware issues in system as a former educator. Then, examination gaps resulting from approach creation outlined, with human ecology social constructionism proposed ideal paradigms for more holistic creation. Finally, proposal research designed create informed path understanding offered answer question: What are experiences educators Canada, which supports services required meet their unique needs?
